Sales Specialist – AI & Machine Learning Solutions

Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist with experience in selling advanced technology solutions, ideally in the AI or machine learning space. In this role, you will engage with prospective clients, demonstrate the value of our AI-driven products, and play a pivotal role in expanding our client base. You will work closely with both technical and product teams to ensure our solutions meet client needs and exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients, initiate contact, and build a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, and direct outreach.

  • Client Engagement: Conduct in-depth discovery calls and meetings to understand clients’ business challenges and demonstrate how our solutions can provide value.

  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver persuasive product demonstrations tailored to each client’s specific use case, showcasing the benefits of our AI and machine learning solutions.

  • Consultative Selling: Act as a trusted advisor, guiding prospective clients through complex decision-making processes and recommending solutions aligned with their business goals.

  • Negotiation and Closing: Drive the sales process from initial engagement through to contract negotiation and closing, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products and services.

  • Market Insight and Feedback: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to provide feedback from clients and stay informed of industry trends, competitive products, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Sales Experience: 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a preference for experience in technology, SaaS, or AI/ML solutions.

  • Understanding of Technology: Basic knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, and the ability to communicate technical value to a non-technical audience.

  • Sales Skills:

    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.

    • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to manage a complex sales cycle.

    • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a results-oriented approach to closing deals.

  • Communication Skills:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.

    • Strong presentation skills, with experience conducting product demos for prospective clients.

  • CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the ability to manage and track sales activities effectively.

  • Self-Motivated: High level of independence, self-discipline, and drive to succeed in a competitive and rapidly changing environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML applications and industry trends, particularly within enterprise environments.

  • Experience in solution selling and a consultative approach to sales.

  • Established network of contacts in industries such as finance, healthcare, retail, or technology.
